It was about mid-day and tony Osborne was heading to lunch. He really needed something to eat his blood sugar had been acting weird and he needed to get under control. He needed his blood sugar to be control. His doctor was getting on his case, if he didn’t control his blood sugar. Tony had a stressful life and always did his best to control his blood sugar
Maybe his calling was something else and he couldn’t figure it out yet. He hoped soon that he could figure out his calling. He wondered if his weird ability were his true calling. It always made him wonder. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor and finding out you have abilities would scare you to death, if you all of sudden could move objects.
The elder man sighed as he walked through the crowd debating where he should eat at. He wanted subway, but there was no subway on the block that he picked. Maybe perhaps he should have picked another block. It would seem that it would be better for him to do that, but he was unsure. Nevertheless, maybe he would find something on this block that he would eat at.
This was a rare opportunity for Tony to even be out. He was a lab rat for the F.B.I. He did nothing expect make sure that the evidence was not tampered with and help solve the crime. It was something that he enjoyed to do, but sometimes he hated the job. However, this was his favorite job and nothing was going to change that or so he didn’t think. He wasn’t paying much attention as he was lost in one of his thoughts and ran smack into someone.

Maddeline had been walking for hours. Round and round in circles but she knew exactly where she was going. Walking round the block a few hundred times was something she often did out of boredom. Plus it was an excuse to get out of the house, where her screaming sister was starting to take hold.
She had no objection to looking after her baby sister, but sometimes she needed some time to herself. Something you very rarely got when babysitting your ever-crying baby which was your sister. It seemed she was never satisfied, either wanting to play or watch TV. It almost made her angry that she had been dumped with her for the rest of the weekend, even though she loved her it didn't stop the overall annoyance. She didn't know what she would have done without the aid of her best friend who lived next door, very kindly offering to take the baby off her hands for a few hours. So she was incredibly grateful.
After walking for an extended amount of time, she had worked up not only a sweat but an appetite too. The last time she had eaten was a quick, rapidly-made piece of toast at breakfast; certainly not something to keep you going for the rest of the day.
Maddeline was caught in her own thoughts for a while. Not paying any attention as to where she was going she felt herself bump directly into somebody else. With a guilty lurch up of the ground, she looked towards the man she had just absent-mindly strolled into. "Oh, I'm so sorry.. Wasn't watching where I was going, silly me." She said with a apologetic smile, hoping the man wouldn't be too angry with her.

Tony who was lost in thought barely noticed that he ran into a girl. He came back to reality fairly quickly when he heard someone talking it. “No it was my fault” He admitted as he bit his lower lip. He had a tendency to bit his lower lip always. He hated doing it, but it was something that he did a lot. He sighed as he gazed around the crowd looking for a place to eat as his stomach growled.
He was about to say something. He was going ask if there was a Subway sandwich place near where they were when his cell phone went off. He grabbed it out of his pocket and fiddled with it. He was texting someone would all of sudden. He was getting angry with it and it started to float in the air. The phone then broke in half. He rolled his eyes as the phone fell to the ground into little pieces.
“Darn...”He muttered
The elder man and started to pick up the pieces of his phone. “Okay, I’m going to sue that neurosurgeon, I swear” He muttered to himself as he forgot that the girl that he had just ran into was still there. He really needed to not get angry. Perhaps he should go take a anger management course, maybe that would help his “issues” with breaking things. At least he hadn’t broke anything in the lab at the F.B.I. that would be bad and he would probably lose his job over that and he didn’t need that. He needed this job and he needed to figure out why the hell this “issue” was happening to him. He hated having this ability or whatever happening to him. He just wanted to be normal again.

Maddeline was about to leave him to carry on with whatever he was formally doing before the small bump in accident which they both blamed themselves for. She didn't want to butt in, so she decided leaving him alone was probably the best thing to do. She tended to find people found her annoying after a while, tagging along and being in an unwanted presence. These were the main reasons why she never stuck to friends very often. Or why friends never stuck to her very often. Maddeline was about to say her fair wells, when she saw something weird happen.
The man she had walked into was typing on his phone, and Maddeline could see by his expression that he was getting angry. She could completely see where he was going, she didn't much like technology either, and it dint always work for her like it did for other people. But this was something she was used to but what happened next she wasn't quite sure whether she had imagined it or not.
She could swear she saw his mobile phone rise and float softly out of his hands, and then fall crashing to the floor where it had met its end. Crumbling into many pieces, she wasn't quite sure what to think. At first she wondered had it even happened, maybe it was a trick of the light or something. Or maybe he jut dropped it. But then she started to wonder whether she had caused it, she knew she wasn't in control of her power but she didn't think it would happen without her knowing about it. Plus, she didn't feel any wind of any sort, so it ccouldn't have been her.
“Okay, I’m going to sue that neurosurgeon, I swear”Maddeline was very skilled in the art of overhearing what people were saying, and she could quite clearly make out what he had said. But once again she couldnt make any sense of it. A Neurosurgeon? Maddy wanted to ask him, but she figured she would come across a tad overwhelming and nosy. She didn't want to fall out with someone she had hardly even met; maybe they could become friends?
She decided maybe they could both stroll off to the small cafe down the road. Not only did they sell the best, hot coffees and hot chocolate, they also did a very fine full cooked breakfast. It had always been a personal favorite of hers, and this was the destination she was primarily going to. She decided to ask about what had happened later, when they both got to know each other a little better.
"You fancy coming to the cafe up the road? Its nothing special but they do some great food" She said with a smile, looking over toward the cafe.

Tony couldn’t believe that his telekinesis was doing this. He thought that he had controlled them fairly well. Nevertheless, the Forensic Scientist was wrong. He really thought that by watching the X-Men movies and reading the comic books. It would be able for him to control his powers. He was awaiting some guy in a wheelchair to read his mind. Okay, so Tony was clearly an X-Men fan, but having powers that were suppose be fictional didn’t seem to be good. This had to be a dream.
The elder man placed the pieces of his phone back in his jacket pocket. He nodded, “Sure that would be good, I guess” He paused “I better get something to eat before I have to go back to work” He admitted with a smile.
Yes, he was working on a weekend. It was clearly because his boss was forcing everyone to work this weekend because they had to put this criminal behind bars. They were preparing evidence to present to the Distract Attorney by Monday. Being a Forensic Scientist had its advantages and disadvantages. Tony personally hated preparing cases. It was always dull and lifeless.
Tony narrowed his eyes at the girl, “Well lead the way” He said with a smile. He was trying to be very polite. He didn’t know if he could trust this girl. He had just demonstrated a power that he wasn’t sure how he did. It always happened when he was angry and he hated that. He wanted to be in control. He wanted to not to do that. He just wanted to be able to control it like Jean Gray did.

Maddline was pleased that he had accepted her invitation to go and grab a quick spot of lunch be for they both had to depart and get on with their lives. She didn't know whether she would get the chance to see him again, after all, what were the chances of her 'bumping' into him again? It was likely that they would only meet this one time, and not get the chance to see each other again. But she sincerely hoped not. Maddeline had always liked meeting new people and getting to know them. What they did, who they were it was one of the things she loved about life, how some people could be completely different to how you saw them. This man seemed nice, and was very polite and well-mannered, so she was all that more keen to become his friend.
When he mentioned about work and how he had to be returning to it soon, she suddenly remembered that she had to be in today. Luckily she was on a night shift, so she wouldn't be needing to go for some time, but that meant a whole 24 hours without any sleep. Sure, she could take a quick hour or two in the staff room (Something she did quite often) but still, she knew she would be bad tempered when she returned home; she always was. And she had to come home to a screaming baby sister who would probably keep her up on her catch-up hours of sleep.
“Well lead the way” Maddeline began to lead him towards the cafe when he told her to lead the way. It wasn't too far from where they were formally standing, just a quick stroll up the road, so they were there in a matter of minutes. Maddeline looked both ways of the road in order to cross to get to the cafe safely without being crushed by the oncoming speeding cars. She just hoped that her new acquaintance was still following her. But she had a sneaky feeling that he still was.
After crossing the road, Maddeline opened the door to let him go through first. She didn't want to be rude and barge in front of him, so she simply walked behind him. Immediately upon entry, Maddeline felt the warm steam and hot air gently brush against her face and returned the colour in her cheeks, that had been drained out by the fierce and forceful wind which was blooming outside. She could smell the sweet aroma of bacon sandwiches slowly dance up her nose and was enough to summon a huge stomach rumble which she tried desperately to cover up. Smiling towards the Waitress of whom she knew so well, she directed her and her new friend to a seat which was furthest away from the door. So they would not be exposed to the cold air which was forcing its way through the half-closed doors.
