New York City, NY Time Square 2:04 PM
Drake walked down Time Square and looked at all of the people laughing and having fun. Lucky bastards he thought to himself hoping that one day he could have that but knowing he could only rest once the villains of this world were gone, with that thought though he laughed as he thought of how ironic it was that he was called a villain by the papers and police for killing the true villains of this world. If you had asked Drake ten years ago if people would feel bad for drug dealers, mafia bosses, con artists, or gang bangers for being killed he would have laughed but now with all the human interest stories and twists of the media he was made out to be the bad guy but he knew the truth. That thought cheered him up because it was all he really had.
The reason that Drake was here was to relax a little bit and find the reason why he was fighting his fight. Still in the back of his head he hoped he would run into one of his old buddies or meet someone new that he could just talk to. Of course he would never admit that to anyone. But that was the magic of Time Square almost anything could happen and you never knew who you would run into.

New York City, the city that never sleeps. The concrete jungle was amazing. The city where dreams either come to life, or be crushed in a swift second. Elizabeth Adams came to New York in hopes of accomplishing her dreams of becoming a famous singer or dancer. But New York isn't a cheap place so working two jobs and trying to fulfill her dreams isn't an easy thing to do.
Liz was in Times Square, heading to her job at Louis Vuiton. She was a cashier and had to work all day until her night job as a bartender. But today Liz had about an hour to kill, so she spent exploring the city, starting at Times Square.
Walking from building to building, hoping to find a affordable dance or singing class. Liz didn't have time to have breakfast, so she decided to buy a bagel and a coffee and sit down on a street bench. She observed the area, watching people hurry through their life and not taking a moments break. It was really different from the small town where she grew up. Everyone there took their time and actually enjoyed life. In the city, everyone seemed to never stop moving.

Drake was walking through the crowd just smiling this was the most relaxed he had been in a while. He bought himself a coffee and a newspaper to pass the time. He thought back to his child hood and how New York was so different then Denver where he had the mountains to look at. With that thought he sat down on a bench next to a girl he didn't know.
Drake didn't know why but something made him do it. He didn't know if it was him just wanting to talk or him needing to talk to a human again. So he asked the girl on the bench "So are you from around here or just visiting?" he asked her trying to just make some small talk to pass the time.

From the bushes behind the bench, one of those places where the trees were in giant planters and you couldn't really see the 'dirt' that they stood in, a dark clothes wearing figure had rolled over.
Anybody passing by would have thought it was some homeless person if it wasn't for the wrap around sunglasses he had on. An arm had flopped over the edge of the planter and hung limply, swaying to and fro from the bench. With outstretched fingers the hand grabbed what was closest to it, the shirttale of some bagel eating girl.
"Grrhm." moaned the hand's owner as he stretched awake. He suddenly realized he was holding somebody's shirttail, not so much holding as pulling on it as his arm had contracted when he stretched.
"Srry." He slurred, whether he was drunk or groggy remained to be seen. He turn his body and hung his legs over the edge of the planter and sat up. He yawned a big yawn, "Anybody know what day it is?"
